১। দৈব-দুর্বিপাক আমাদের জন্য নতুন কোনো বিষয় নয়।
Natural calamity is not a new phenomenon to us .
২। বিশ্বব্যাপী বাংলাদেশ প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগকবলিত দেশ হিসেবে সমধিক পরিচিত।
Bangladesh is mostly known as a disaster prone country through out world.
৩। এক সময় এতদঞ্চলে কালবৈশাখী সবচেয়ে ভয়ংকর বলে চিহ্নিত ছিল।
Once upon a time , North-wester was known as the most devastating natural calamity in this region .

৪। এখন নানা নামে ঘূর্ণিঝড় আঘাত হানছে।
Now-a-days Cyclones are hitting in different forms.
৫ । বিশেষ করে উপকূলীয় এলাকাগুলো প্রতি বছরই অনাকাক্সিক্ষত প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের সম্মুখীন হয়।
Every year unexpected natural calamities visit our country especially in the coastal region .

৬। তবে আশার কথা হলো, বৈরী প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলায় এদেশের মানুষ যে সাহসী ভূমিকা রাখছে তা বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রশংসিত হয়েছে।
But it is a good news for us that the courageous efforts of the people of our country to cope up with the devastating natural calamity has been applauded across the world .

৭। কয়েকটি কারণে এটা সম্ভব হয়েছে।
And It come into force for taking some initiatives .

৮। যেমন দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলায় ভুক্তভোগীদের দীর্ঘদিনের অভিজ্ঞতালব্ধ জ্ঞান অর্জন, আগাম সতর্কবার্তা অবহিতকরণে প্রযুক্তিগত উৎকর্ষতা, সরকার কর্তৃক ব্যাপক প্রতিরোধমূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ এবং সুলভে তথ্যপ্রাপ্তি।
This is included ,acquiring long term knowledge of the affected people to cope with the natural calamities, technological improvement for alerting , taking comprehensive preventive measures by the govt. and
information availability as well.

৯। উল্লেখ্য, এবারের ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের আগে থেকেই সরকার কর্তৃক নিরাপত্তামূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের পাশাপাশি ব্যাপক জনসচেতনতামূলক প্রচারণা চালানো হয়।
Meanwhile ,various safety-net measures and massive mass awareness programe have taken before hitting the cyclone by the govt.

১০। ফলে সংঘটিত রোয়ানুর আঘাতে ব্যাপক জানমালের ক্ষতির আশঙ্কা করা গেলেও বাস্তবে তা সহনীয় বলেই প্রতীয়মান হয়েছে।
As a result ,Practically the damages of the lives and properties are seem to tolerable in comparison with the high estimation.

১১। প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের আঘাত ক্ষণস্থায়ী হলেও এর প্রভাব থাকে দীর্ঘ সময়
Though the natural calamities are temporary, but their consequences are permanent .
১২। রোয়ানুর আঘাতে কৃষিজমি, ঘরবাড়ি, গবাদিপশু, স্থাবর-অস্থাবর সম্পদের ক্ষয়ক্ষতির পাশাপাশি অনেকে আহত হয়েছেন।
Cropland , houses, livestockes , properties have completely damaged and many people have also injured by the cyclone Roanu.

১৩।নানা অসুখ-বিসুখ ছড়িয়ে পড়ার শঙ্কাও আছে।
It is also alarmed that various diseases will break out as a consequence of the disaster. ..

১৪। এ অবস্থায় পুনর্বাসন প্রকল্প গ্রহণ জরুরি। ভুক্তভোগী প্রতিটি মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে হবে।
So, rehabilitation program is must and we should enlarge our hand to the every disaster affected people.
১৫। আমরা প্রত্যাশা করি, সরকার এক্ষেত্রে কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করবে।
In this regard , we expect that the govt. will take effective measures as well.
