- Ans. Well, there are a couple of places I like to go for shopping; one of them is Bashundhara City. There I find everything I need. And the environment is also suitable. An almost equally preferable (সমানভাবে পছন্দনীয়) and attractive place is Rifle Square, which was established (প্রতিষ্ঠা করা) far earlier than Bashundhara City.

- Ans. Hmm. Everything is changing very rapidly. I think there may some changes in the shopping behavior of people as well. In near future, technology will determine (নির্ধারণ করা) how we shop. It is online shopping (ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে কেনাকাটা) that will be the feature (বৈশিষ্ট্য) of tomorrow’s shopping.
- Do you think that going for shopping may become a favorite pastime for many people? (তুমি কি মনে কর যে, কেনাকাটা করতে যাওয়া অনেকের জন্য একটি অবসর বিনোদন হতে পারে?)
- Ans. It is already a favorite pastime for many people, especially for the youngsters. This is because shopping malls (অভিজাত বিপনী) are also a meeting place, where they meet with friends, spend time with shopping and eating at restaurants.
- What are the factors that you think determine the shopping behavior of people? (তোমার মতে, কি কি কারণ বা বিষয় মানুষের কেনাকাটার আচরণ নির্ধারণ করে?)
- Ans. There are several factors that determine shopping behavior. Money is the first determinant. The shopping behavior of wealthier (বেশী ধনী) people is quite different (একবারেই আলাদা) from that of the poor. Other than money, individual taste (ব্যক্তিগত রুচি) and lifestyle also speak for the difference in shopping behavior among people.”
