Will
“Will” is used with promises or voluntary actions that take place in the future. “Will” can also be used to make predictions about the future. For more information on using “will” and associated exercises, visit the Simple Future section of our Verb Tense Tutorial.
Examples:
I promise that I will write you every single day.(promise)
I will make dinner tonight. (voluntary action)
He thinks it will rain tomorrow.( prediction)
Will এর ব্যবহার:
1. ভবিষ্যত ঘটনা(Future incident) বুঝাতে: সকল Person এ will বসে ।
যেমন-They/You will do the work.
2. Command, threat, determination(আদেশ,হুমকি,দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞা)বুঝাতে: সকল Person এর সাথে will
ব্যবহৃত হয় যেমন- You will carry out my order.
The weak will be given equal rights.
Would
“Would” is most commonly used to create conditional verb forms. It also serves as the past form of the modal verb “will.” Additionally, “would” can indicate repetition in the past. Examples:
If he were an actor, he would be in adventure movies. (conditional)
I knew that she would be very successful in her career. (past of “will”)
When they first met, they would always have picnics on the beach.( repetition)
Would এর ব্যবহার:
1. Polite request(বিনীত অনুরোধ)বুঝাতে: Would you send the money, please ?
2. Offer/invitation(প্রস্তাব/আমন্ত্রণ) বুঝাতে: Would you mind having a cup of tea ?
3. Preference(অধিক পছন্দ) বুঝাতে: like, love, hate, prefer, care এর সাথে would ব্যবহৃত হয় ।
যেমন- I would like to have a cup of tea.
4. Preference(অধিক পছন্দ) বুঝাতে: rather/sooner এর সাথে would
ব্যবহৃত হয় I would rather die than beg.
5. Past ability (অতীত ক্ষমতা) বুঝাতে: If clause টি past perfect tense হলে পরবর্তী clause-এ subject এরপর
would বসে । যেমন- If I had seen him, I would have told him about the matte
